Holocaust Museums in Canada

There are Holocaust museums in some parts of  Canada, but they are few. Not surprisingly since the population of Canada is exceedingly small compared to that of the United States. However, that does not diminish the quality of Canadian museums nor the commitment of some Canadian provinces to preserve and respect the history of the Holocaust. The public is encouraged to visit their museums and increase their awareness and knowledge about the Holocaust and anti-semitism.  If there are some Canadian provinces not listed here, it is because they do not have a permanent Holocaust Museum.
